Our annual Butterfly Effect is a heartwarming family event that touches the lives of everyone in the Alberni Valley.
The event is family friendly and includes kids' activities, live music, food and more!

Each spring this event brings together members of our community to reminisce about loved ones we have lost. We honour them by releasing a butterfly in their memory. Together we celebrate a beautiful moment when hundreds of Painted Lady butterflies are released into the air.
