Butterfly Effect

Each spring this event brings together members of our community to reminisce about loved ones we have lost - we honour them by releasing a butterfly in their memory. Together we celebrate a beautiful moment when hundreds of Painted Lady butterflies are released into the air.

Our Butterfly Effect event is family friendly and includes kids' activities, live music, silent auction, food and more!

In return for your financial support your business or organization will be promoted in the Alberni Valley and across BC before, during and after the event via our social media platforms and through any other media we use to promote the Butterfly Effect.

• Join our Walk for Hospice: During the Butterfly Effect a 2 km family friendly walk will begin and end at our celebration site. Create a team and ask your friends and family to support your walk for hospice.
• Silent Auction and Prizes: Donate items for our silent auction or the prize giveaway segment for our Walk for Hospice.
• Marketplace: Our event will be hosting an open air market for artists and other local vendors who would like to promote their crafts and wares to our supporters. Registration is limited and participation is by donation.
